‘Wires & Wine’ workshops have popped up from Europe to the United States. The series launched at Amora Estudio in Lisbon in July 2025, during Hanging Out Studios inaugural summer.
Since September, ‘Wires & Wine’ has been a monthly installment at Ludlow House (of SoHo House NYC), drawing new and returning participants to each session.
Up-cycled and secondhand items are at the core - electrical wire scraps, fabric pieces, thrift store toys, and beads from flea market necklaces. I love sourcing new materials for this series and always update the buffet of items provided to keep the workshop feeling fresh for return participants.
Many people tell me they are often pleasantly surprised by their own creations, and leave with new skills, a relaxed state of mind, and inspiration sparked.
